    We are officially hooked on Heroes, although we're only halfway through the first season (bought it on DVD). We watched about 6 episodes last night! :) Very different.

    The light outside is changing ... summer is coming to an end. I don't know where it went! It was consumed in a fire of study and stress, I suppose. :) All's well that ends well, though. I'm getting used to my new role as an RN in the ER. My preceptor is awesome, but I knew she would be -- that's why I picked her! I have to admit I get a kick out of being able to say, "Hi, I'm Lisa, I'm one of the nurses..." :)

    I am really looking forward to autumn ... I was all giddy at the the craft store because they have all the Halloween decorations out. :) Of course, I bought some! They stay up all year round in our house. :-)

    Yesterday was Michael's birthday. I made him dinner (meatloaf -- his request, I swear!) and a cake. I bought him the deluxe set of Prismacolor art pencils (the one with 120 colors). I had no idea there were so many shades of blue or green. LOL. You know me, I pretty much stick to black. :-)

    Enjoying another couple of days off, and then it's back to work! I'm really enjoying it, though ... I learn something new every day. It's always been that way for me, but now I feel like I'm building on a real foundation, if that makes any sense.
