My mother remarked today that it's been a while since I updated, so here I am! *waves to mom*

Things are great here! I've started my first "real" class with Excelsior College (I'm not counting their required "Information Literacy" class in my mind, although I did earn one credit for it). In any case, I'm starting with Anatomy & Physiology ... hey, why not get the class with the 1100-page textbook out of the way first? Ha ha! It's a lot of review for me -- I took a class at NOVA for my paramedic studies that was a one-semester, simplified version of A&P. Silly me -- I didn't realize I'd be going back to school AGAIN. If I had, I would have takent the two-semester A&P class that would have transferred! Oh well, not a big deal. So I'm studying at my own pace, and I'll go to a testing center to test when I'm ready (hopefully within a couple of months ... did I mention the size of the book? You could hurt someone with it!).

We visited Michael's parents and brother in New Hampshire a couple of weeks ago, and also stayed a night in Salem, Massachusetts. We had a great time!! There are pictures, but I haven't downloaded them yet. When I do, I'll post some. :) Oh, but I do have one of us in Salem, MA, taken by our friend Sandra:

I am the epitome of "toothy grin" in that picture. What a goober! :)
