I know, long-time-no-update. I'll post some yard pictures tomorrow ... I took a bunch of pictures to email to my mom (she who is the master gardener and can tell me what the heck is growing in our yard!), but so many of them are blurry (silly old digital camera) so I need to reshoot most of them.

In any case, things here are great. :) We love love love our house! It's so peaceful and quiet out here. We had a small housewarming party on Saturday, and that was a lot of fun — it was great to catch up with a bunch of people I hadn't seen in a while!

We also purchased a third vehicle. We had originally intended to buy a "beater truck" with four-wheel drive that we could use to haul our trash/recycling to the dumpster, and that Michael could drive to work in bad weather (and I'd drive his Jeep to my job, which is further away). Well, we redefined what a "beater truck" would be and ended up with a VERY nice 1999 Jeep Cherokee Classic. Whoops! ;) Not what we had originally intended, but I really love the older, boxier-looking Cherokees, so I couldn't resist. And we couldn't beat the price ... I think the saleswoman didn't realize it was a Cherokee Classic (and not just a Cherokee Sport) when she lowered the price so dramatically. It has 122,000 miles, but is in pristine condition. We've been using it on our days off to run errands and haul stuff around. I love it! It'll help keep the mileage down on our other vehicles, too.

In other news, our first wedding anniversary is in a couple of weeks (June 21st). Woo hooo! My birthday is coming up on Tuesday ... meh. I think I've decided to stop having birthdays, thanks! Ha ha.
