    We're in the new house! It's fabulous. :D The cats just love all the windows and open spaces, too. Our furniture looks great in here as well — despite the boxes! :) It's very peaceful and quiet out here, too — just what we were looking for. :)

    Only a few more days until we're in the new house! :) We are so excited about it. Just finishing up the packing ... I still have to pack my shoes and random clothing items (anything on a hanger doesn't have to be packed, which is nice), and we have to finish packing a few random knickknacks and the rest of the kitchen. Today I'm taking care of random details — discontinuing various utilities, setting up new accounts, etc. Fun fun fun! In any case, I'll post some more pictures of the new place (with our furniture this time!) once we're settled.

    I'm also finishing up my first required course with Excelsior College so I can proceed with the nursing curriculum. Exciting!! :) I still have to do a bunch of pre-reqs in addition to the nursing portion, but we all know what a school dork I am ... I love school. :D (And if you didn't know that, now you do!)

    Not much else going on ... Michael continues to be very busy at work. Same goes for me — our ER is seeing more patients than ever. I still love my job. :) I'm also still doing some desktop publishing part-time (about 20-24 hours/month), and I really enjoy it — it's enough to satisfy my love of doing layout, but not enough to bring on carpal tunnel flare-ups or put me in a sedentary job again. :) Plus the clients that I work with are great!

    Okay, enough with the procrastinating ... I have things to do! :)
