Finished Pediatric Education for the Prehospital Provider (PEPP) this past weekend. Really good class — I recommend it! I also found out that I could recertify my Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) during the same class for much less than the price of the full class; all I had to do was take the PALS written test and do the pediatric megacode. Did that, passed everything. Yay! So that's one less class I'll take next month. :) Still crazy-busy ... looking forward to a three-day workweek next week! I need some rest.

Been really busy here ... doing the paramedic recertification thing, which means getting 72 hours of continuing education (CE) credits before March 31, when my National Registry paramedic expires ... NOT going to let that happen! Heh. I worked too hard to get it in the first place! So I've been going to school a lot, sometimes auditing weeknight classes and sometimes attending Saturday-Sunday classes for specific topics (I just did Basic Trauma Life Support [BTLS] this past weekend, and I have Pediatric Education for the Prehospital Provider [PEPP] this coming weekend). So yeah, I've been busy! All that, on top of my job — I'm working as a desktop publisher for a community management company, doing approximately 14 different community newsletters for various homeowners associations that we manage. It's fun, most days. :) The commute is getting to me, but oh well.

I did get my car back at the beginning of the month; it took a while, but they did a great job, and it's as good as new! :) So nice to be able to drive in that HOV lane again!

Congrats to my stepsister, Traci, who is expecting another little one! She's a great mommy. :)
