I turned in my graduation application today. Woo hoooo! Today was the deadline, of course. LOL. That's me — working right up until the deadline. ;) I have to call some people in the IT department to review my design portfolio to get my computer credit out of the way, but that shouldn't be a problem. So once I do that, then finish my two PE credits this semester, I'm done! *cartwheels* I can't believe I'm going to have a second associate's degree. Ha ha. I'll get a bachelor's degree on of these days.

I have nothing scheduled this weekend. I love it. :) We need to clean the house, and I need to get my office straightened up/cleaned out — it's also the guest bedroom, and we bought a new futon couch to replace the old one in there (it sagged outwards when opened, so it wasn't comfortable). The new one is being delivered on the 29th, so we need to get that old futon out of there. So we'll have a comfortable guest bedroom now — big hint to anyone who feels like visiting the beautiful Shenandoah Valley — we love visitors!

    Nutshell:

    • Stilll doing paramedic internship — have 26 calls as lead medic, need 24 more. Woo! Didn't finish in time to take National Registry medic exam in February. Boo. Oh well. I'll take it next time. Am no longer the "kiss of life" while at station — we seem to have had quite a few already-very-expired patients lately. Eeek.

    • Was snowed in again, twice. Got Land Rover stuck in ditch after entire vehicle slid backwards down "roller coaster hill" near my house. Extracted Land Rover from said ditch with no damage or injury (to either of us, LOL). :)

    • Will graduate with my "Associates in Applied Science — Emergency Medical Technology" in May. Taking my final two credits to graduate. Both classes will require consistent exercise. They are PE credits. Heh. This is a good thing, though — might make me more disciplined about when I exercise.

    • Have decided to embellish lower back tattoo (the triple moon) when I get some re-coloring work done. Haven't decided what I'm doing, though; I'll start working on the design soon. I'll probably get whatever it is done this summer.

    • Parents scheduled short visit. Parents cancelled short visit due to impending inclement weather. Boo. I wanted them to see our wonderful house! Oh well. They'll come back in the spring, when it's absolutely breathtaking out here. :)

So there it is! So much excitement. Har har.
