1. I passed the Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) exam on May 14th! I didn't tell anyone at work I was taking it, just in case I failed. Ha ha. Turned out I was worried for nothing! I passed with flying colors. :) I'm sure my 6 years as a paramedic were very helpful in this endeavor, too.
2. My schedule is changing in such a way that will allow me to get to the fire station every Monday, instead of every other Monday. I'm so happy about that!!
3. Still working on my RN-BSN. I'm taking Economics right now, and not really loving it ... I'm maintaining an A in the class through sheer force of will! Only 2.5 weeks left to go. Whew. Then I'm taking a session (8 weeks) off before I start my next class. I'll only have 6 classes left when I'm done with Econ. Yay!
4. We're going to Florida in July to see my parents, and also to go to a high school reunion with all my peeps from Naples, Italy. I cannot WAIT to see these people!! It's been a couple decades, but oh, the memories. :-)
5. Still mulling over where we want to move ... whenever the housing market improves, of course, and we can actually sell our house. Might not be anytime soon, but Oregon and Colorado top the list. Also considering a move overseas, but we'll see -- details on that in a few months. :)
6. I have some neato pictures from recent day trips to post ... I'll try to do that soon!
New laminate flooring in our front room! It's fabulous. We're getting the sunroom on the back of the house done tomorrow. :) Both rooms were the unfortunate victims of cheap carpet. No more!
